Great Lakes Theater Festival Education Director, Daniel Hahn, and Playwright David Hansen will preview the one-act drama, THE DARK SIDE OF THE TWILIGHT: Evolution of the Vampire which will premier at The Alcazar February 16^th.

It explores the evolution of classic vampire myth over the last two centuries with particular attention to four pivotal pieces of literature: John Polidor’s “The Vampyre,” Bram Stoker’s “Dracula,” Anne Rice’s “Interview With A Vampire,” and Stephanie Meyer’s “Twilight.”
During this informal talk, Mr. Hahn and Mr. Hansen will discuss what impact classic gothic literature has upon contemporary society.

Enjoy the reading of a new play, fiction or poetry and a discussion afterwards,  led by its author, on the  first Monday of the month at 7pm in the Kulas Music Room, just off the main Lobby. $5 admission at the door.
